Product Care

Here are The Welsh Farmhouse Company's Top  Tips for caring for our bestselling products.

1. Dubarry boots - yard manure, waste liquids and salt water can be very corrosive to leather. To prolong performance and protection for your Dubarry's, always scrub them with a soft brush and rinse with fresh tap water after exposure.

2. Always allow your boots to dry naturally. Never use artificial heat or leave in proximity to an open fire. For best results air dry for at least 48 hours.

3. Use Dubarry's range of products to condition and protect the leather. More comprehensive information DUBARRY FOOTWEAR CARESHEETS can be downloaded from

4. Give new life to your Barbour Waxed Jacket. If your jacket needs repairing or reproofing, simply send the jacket to us at The Welsh Farmhouse Company and we will send it to Barbour. It can take up to six weeks to repair depending on the time of year. A simple re wax will cost £30.00 plus postage and packaging.

5. Need new leather soles on your RM Williams boots, simply bring them to The Welsh Farmhouse Company and we'll send them back to Australia to get resoled. These boots are handcrafted in Australia and its worth taking the time and effort to look after them.
